How is this for writing about a dinner that took place in West London in a friend's flat while we were staying there courtesy of such friend while our own flat in South London was being renovated? So much water has passed since then.... we sold the South London flat (was too small) and moved to a much bigger house in another area of South London (fans of Ted Lasso would know of Tooting) and are happily situated. But I digress. I can't remember much of the Maldives dinner so I'll just include the menu with the scores and the recipes in my recipes' blog... Only 3 of us were present and as usual I don't get to score my own cooking so here it goes, Eric and Odile's scores.
Appetizer: Masroshi (Tuna Stuffed Chapati): 6
Main Course: Farumas Riha (Maldivian style fish curry): 8.25
Side: Fried Yams: 7 and Chapati: 5.5
Dessert: Saagu Bondibai (Sago Pudding): 6.5
Overall Dinner: 6.8
